Anyone familiar with Frye Miranda Back Zip boots?

Frye states they have a 12" circumference and Zappos says 14". That's quite a range...I'm assuming Frye would know the best.

Anyway...I need a basic pair of black heeled boots, even if the price makes me choke. I want something current but also something that's classic enough to go with all of my dresses and skirts. Does this fit the bill?

I wish I could help you, but I don't know. They don't look particularly narrow, though, not enough to be 12", but maybe that's just the picture. With the zipper though these are likely to be more close fitting on the calf. I just tried on almost all the Fryes at my local Nordies today, but they were all pull-ons.

What a beautiful boot! It comes in red too! And that neat blond color! On Endless it says this one is made in China.

Yummy ! I love a pair of these just for dresses and skirts, I have no prayer getting these on over skinnies or tucked in jeans....

I think measurementsdepend on what shoe size they use as reference. The bigger the shoe, the bigger the circumference. Could it be that each site is using a different shoe size as reference?

I would trust Fryes measurements over Zappos' though. You can always call Frye to confirm.

Thanks ladies. Sparky, I too think they don't look all that narrow either. I do love the back zipper, so I might be enticed to order them and just see.
