I may be the last person to have done this, but I ironed my pleather jackets today!

Two of them had folds/creases that bugged me ALOT. I would fuss with them whenever I wore them

So today I got my iron ready for its annual outing and grabbed those jackets. The iron was pretty hot (almost to the wool/cotton setting) and I put a not-too-thin kitchen cotton towel, doubled, over the troublesome spots and ironed.

I quickly realized I wasn't going to burn the pleather. So with some serious heat through that towel, those annoying folds went away (melted away?).

The jacket looks perfectly fine and I wore one of them out to dinner tonite without once fussing about the crumpled collar or extra fold on the lapel. Yeah!

Warning: if you haven't tried this, approach your pleather carefully!!
