Anyone else here love Polyvore? Just posted my first outfit :-P

Polyvore lets you create "sets" or outfits using images from online shops all over the Web. People also use it to create artboards/concept boards, design collages for fashion, interior design etc.

The only thing I don't agree with is you literally clip images from *anywhere* which introduce copyright issues but I am careful to take pics from online stores. free sites etc. only.

You simply sign up, create a set, then search and "drag and drop" items from the right onto your polyvore artboard and arrange them in cool ways!

You can place clothing, accessories, makeup items, shoes, bags, hair accessories, even a music track, text, and backgrounds.

You can join groups like "grunge", "pastels", "brights", "twilight fashion" etc. And submit your sets for comments and likes.

It's pretty cool!

Tara: All the images that are being used are freely given by the copyright owners in return for click throughs from Polyvore. Some companies (ModCloth & Net a Porter to name a couple of big ones) pay money to have their images come up higher in the searches. So don't worry about using the images, the owners are getting more than their fair share in return!

I have stopped using Polyvore so much recently cause it's a procrastination enabler like nothing else. It's very addictive and a great way to dream about how you'd style and wear things.

I can see that this could become addictive! I often think I would have a different style if I was a bit braver about being seen in public in "out there" clothes- this will let me live vicariously. I like what you put together.

Yeah I have played around with it a bit. I did try and wear an outfit I created but didn't look as good on. Probably something to do with the clothes looking different once it was on a body shape. But I love looking at all the ideas.
