Anyone else "hearing" Angie now?

Yes, totally. Angie is one of those people who writes nearly exactly the way she speaks - after hearing Angie's voice in real life for the first time a year ago, and seeing how exuberant and expressive she is in person, I could totally "hear" her tone of voice while reading blog posts or comments here.

I had the luck to meet our lovely Angie in person twp years ago and ever since I have been always hearing her voice when reading YLF. It gave everything so much more personality. Actually, I sometimes hear her voice even when not on YLF, especially when shopping. The " what would Angie say" question is answered in my mind in her lovely accent. Hopefully this doesn't make me nutty

Oh absolutely!! Ever since I first heard Angie speak on the Today show, I picture blog posts and comments in her voice. It adds a really great dimention to the site to know how she sounds, and the adorable Euro phrases she uses in writing come to life all the more filtered through the real voice!

Absolutely! I haven't had the pleasure to meet Angie yet (one day, I hope it will happen!) but the videos I've seen have helped set a "voice" to Angie's writing. Love it.

I LOVED the video of Angie laughing too. I laughed along. So infectious and happy!

Meeting Angie in person (I know, I'm lucky!) really put even more life into her YLF posts and comments because I can almost hear her saying what she writes. It really is a treat to hear you, Angie, and I can't wait for more tutorials.

Absolutely! The thing I found funniest was that when I started reading this blog, Angie had an American accent in my mind.

Then as I continued to read, I discovered she was dutch, so then she had a European accent. THEN I discovered she had spent time in Hong Kong as a young girl, so she developed a plummy English accent and THEN I read she had spent time in South Africa, so she then developed a slightly South African accent!

You cannot imagine my relief to hear her voice for the first time so that it could give my poor over active imagination a break! :-()

I loved hearing Angie's voice on the video. Angie, your voice fits exactly who you are online...direct, thoughtful, confident, knowledgeable, and warm. I also saw a previous video where you were helping 2 ladies with accessories and I couldn't help thinking how efficiently you changed their outfits from ok to fab. You make it look Sooo easy.

P.S. In contrast, I remember when I first heard Garfield the comic strip cat speak on TV. I thought "That's not what he sounds like." ha
