Oh, I admire this! MaryK, your outfits look perfectly coordinated as always, and kitty is an adorable assistant (my dog Tippi seems to believe that any item of clothing placed on the bed is there for her napping comfort).

I would love to be that organized, but my routine is so...non-routine! I suppose I'm as emotional a dresser as I am a shopper!

Ya know, I used to plan outfits a week ahead. But whenever I'd get dressed in what I had planned I didn't want to wear it anymore. What's up with that? I have to FEEL like my outfits every day, and I don't know how I'm going to feel until that day. For instance:
Today I FELT like my sleeveless black sheath with a lightweight grey cardi, my watch and silver hoops.
Yesterday I FELT like my brown and cream skirt, orange tank top, greige jacket,
multi-strand turquoise beaded necklace, turquoise earrings, silver and cream bangle and silver charm bracelet, brown heels - for our morning church services....
But come time for evening services, I FELT like a black skirt, black and white tunic, red tank top, silver cuff bracelet and black shoes with large silver buckle and red bag.

All that to say, planning a week of outfits is futile in my life - I'm way too fussy.

Here's my attempt at planning outfits. I have a short work week, only two days since I'm going on vacation. Third outfit is my travel outfit for flying to Philly! Yay!

I have been giving myself mini challenges so I am gathering all the pieces I think will work each Sunday night and putting possibles together on my door and one end of closet. It does make the morning dressing go more quickly (until you have a malfunction like I noticed last week on the day I was running latest that the entire hem had come undone on a dress I was wearing. No time to fashion tape ALL OF IT - so a quick change had to happen. I didn't see this yesterday but have planned my color scheme for the week (Black and white/off white) so I'll try to plan the rest of the week as detailed as you have done and join you.

Great outfits, Mary and friends! You inspire me. I had an outfit picked out for this morning but forgot about it - didn't lay it out, silly me. I was going to wear a blue patterned tee, white shorts, and a peacock feather necklace. What I'm actually wearing: orange button-down shirt, cream jeans, no jewelry. Sheesh! Talk about a mood change. I didn't know I was so fickle!

Love seeing everyone's planned outfits, they look so lovely all laid out!

(Shabby, that's being a mood dresser I'm the same way, which is why planning like this never works for me either!)
