Anybody sporting spikey/studded flats?

I wouldn't think I would be attracted to the style, but it has really been catching my eye lately. A cheapey pair may be in order if they are soft enough. Would you do black or nude? Anyone else out there considering this style? I remember Anna was looking at some studded loafers awhile back.

Yes! I own a pair of Aquatalia studded flats that I love. The bonus is that they are rain proof. They are the only flats that have ever stayed on my feet. I bought them in the spring and have worn them a lot.

ETA: I get TONS of compliments on these shoes. They cause a lot of people to do a double take and then smile. So even though flat, they are quite attention getting.

Do not trip on these babies; the studs actually HURT. I figure they can be a weapon if required, LOL.

I have a pair in black similar to the first pair... can't remember the brand but I wore them in New Orleans.

I have some Steve Madden Melters under consideration - mine are in taupe with taupe studs. Not waterproof, but about as subtle as studded shoes can get

I would wear them in a heartbeat if I came across a pair that is super comfy. I really like the nude ones in your first picture.

Oh, MNSara, I do like those in taupe! I love how the silver blends in, but if you pay attention it’s really quite edgy.

Inge, I think these would look so great with your lady-like style.

It occurred to me that maybe I am attracted to these shoes because I am so limited in what I can buy/wear at the moment due to my shape that I would really love some fun detail on my feet!

I really like the nude ones. I think its the constrast of the soft feminine color with the toughness of the spikes.

I haven't participated in this particular trend yet but I would if I found the right pair for me.

I have some rhinestone covered pointy toe flats from Zara. Do those count? I vote for black studded flats.

Love all of these shoes. I really want some studded/spiked shoes, but they have to be flat, or less than an inch or so.

MNSara, you really made me smile. My feet are still the same size--I wonder if that means I am in the clear for shoe buying? I have shoes on the brain. They would have looked great with my outfit today. What I should really be buying though is some cushy insoles. I feel so heavy on my feet these days.

ETA: forgot to add, check these out! They look dangerous! I think I would want them if I weren't convinced I would take out my own shins.
