I am considering these UGG booties as my go-to black dressy booties for fall / mild winter days. They are not on sale but with my size I canot wait for it.
Has anybody seen them IRL? Are they worth considering?

ETA: Boo! I was waiting for those booties to arrive by this Saturday so I can try them on together with my NAS loot at Nordstrom but got email from CS that they are backordered and estimated shipping date is September 25!!!

I am still keeping myself on the waiting list but won't be able to try them for at least 2 more months!

Sveta, I think I did see those when I was in Nordstrom for NAS. If they are anything like the base part of the Ugg Cortonas (pictured below, they seem to be sold out everywhere) -- and they look like they are -- they're great. Very comfortable and a soft cushiony inside. The Cortona was a little stiff in the front and rubbed my shin at the beginning, but that quickly went away as I wore the boots. I'd say they are worth trying.

ETA: I looked at both more closely, and I think the Cortonas come up a little higher on the leg, so the rubbing might not be a factor at all in the ones you're considering -- the top of the bootie is a bit more shaped. All the more reason to try them!

I will be waiting anxiously to see if they work for you! I know Una would agree with me that the Cortonas are really great, and interestingly, Una and I have very different fit issues with footwear -- I hope these are as kind to you.

They're beautiful, Sveta! Love both colors and the shape and detail. My only concern would be that the bottoms are a bit slick for snowy climes --- I think there's a way to treat them, though!

Angie, I am glad I was not off the mark thinking they are a possibility!:-)
Beth Ann, if I get them I would get the cobbler to install slip-resistant soles ($40). The main thing for me is if the soles are thick enough to wear in the cold months: my feet are very cold sensetive and freeze to numbness in shoes with thin "dressy" soles.

Sveta, just wanted to chime in here about the quality of Ugg boots. Well, their "real" boots anyway, as I don't have much experience with the soft ones. I have a pair of motos (I think Una has the same ones) and a pair of Western-like nubuck booties that are both about three years old (the booties may be a bit older), and they're still going strong. I treat the nubuck ones with waterproofing spray and don't wear them in wet conditions. I wear the motos all winter and keep them polished. They both still look great. I hope they work for you. They're beautiful!
