Any Great Riding Boots Out There?

I've been a bit stumped in my search for riding boots. I bought the Frye Veronica slouch, and they're great boots, but I'm going to return them. I think I want something a bit sleeker.

Has anyone bought great riding boots this year? Or seen any? (I have black boots already, so I'm really interested in brown or tan.) Thanks!

I bought the Frye Melissa Button. Zappos has it in over 20 colors. It's not a true equestrian style. The top looks western to me. Overall, though, they are very sleek looking.

I feel like I've been a big JCrew booster lately and maybe I'm sounding a little cheerleaderish, but I have to say that I've had a pair of JCrew brown riding boots for six years that still look fantastic. Tara, I am still loving the Aquatalia boots that Laura linked to. I had them on yesterday and they received several compliments.

Thanks for the suggestions. The Aquatalia boots are gorgeous, but I can't spend quite that much. Perhaps they'll be on sale again at some point, or at the next NAS.

I wonder now if I should keep the Veronica boots. I mostly need them to wear with skinnies when it rains, which doesn't happen that often here. They are a nice rich brown, good quality, and I did get them on sale. What do you guys think of them?

i love my frye veronicas. i have several riding boots in cognac and black. but i reach for my veronicas over and over even with smart casual.

if you can afford them, there are these agl's on sale. i bought them. but i have to return. the calf is too large for even me and the wide part for the calf is too low for mine. try them though. you may luck out as agls are super comfy.
