Here are a few pics of the goodies I scored at Saturday's Seattle swap. Love them all already I'm bummed to say that for most of the these items I don't remember who brought them - except that Aida brought the first summer dress, and Phoebe the super cute pleather jacket.
This is actually WIW to the swap. Kut from the Kloth jeans, BCBG cheetah jacket (thrifted a year or two ago), Frye Rory boots in Sand.
Black/brown/cream summer dress. A little more girly than what I usually wear, so I decided to replace the self-belting fabric belt with a leather one, feels a bit more funky that way.
AK b/w blouse with a little bow and super cute sleeves (no idea what that sleeve style is called). One of my favorite items I've ever gotten in a swap Also got the skirt, a basic Express black pencil skirt, which fills a sore hole in my wardrobe and fits perfectly.
same blouse, now paired with a red Club Monaco skirt I've already owned.
Wet Seal b/w striped top. Last week I said "I don't do stripes" and I'm already eating my words.
 same top, same Express skirt
Angie said "try layering the top",. so I did and love this for a professional look. (layered over a basic H&M white button down)
Another summer dress. Not crazy about cap sleeves on my arms, but I thought it looked okay and I plan to have tanne (and maybe even toned? ;-)) arms when I wear it, so it should be alright. Going to Florida in February, and this will be a perfect vacation dress.
My favorite piece from this swap - a perfectly 80s looking pleather biker jacket. LOVE.
The most experimental piece I picked up. Originally a multi-strand necklace that I was immediately drawn to, but also worried that it was too "tribal" for my style. Angie worked her magic and suggested that I remove a couple of the smaller beady strands, and voila, it's a simpler necklace that I look forward to trying out with white blouses and black dresses.
I love my new wardrobe additions, thank you Seattle swappers!
