Suz, yes, you’ve described it quite accurately, thanks! I didn’t quite see it but now I do. The “grey” sweater is more of a blue/grey in person, but yo are absolutely right.
Style Fan, yes you are right about online shopping. I don’t think I would have chosen these tops online,
but when I saw them in the store I just had to try them on. I do agree that
grey can be tricky to match, I wear it a lot and it got a lot easier once I
figured out that there are brownish/warm greys and blueish/cool greys and they do NOT go well together although I love both of them. There are probably greys with other undertones but I tend tos tik with the brown or blue ones.
Unfrumped, great description of that “goes with everything” thing. I too have had quite a few wardrobe orphans that just didn’t look right with anything. Angie’s advice about creating outfits at home before cutting tags on a new item is spot-on.
