Ok, these are horrible nighttime bathroom pics, but I couldn't wait.

I bought three new pieces tonight at Anthropologie, my first purchase there as a matter of fact.

The shorts are a pretty coral linen.
The cream top was inspired by citygirldc's brand new green one.

The red top is the one piece I'm not 100% sure of, just because I'm not sure of my motives. I thought it the color was fantastic and I really liked the tone on tone with the shorts.

Now I am officially shopping my closet for at least a month!

I loooove the neckline of that top on you and citygirldc! Love it in cream.

The only hesitation I have about the red top is how it's folding on the outside of your bustline, but perhaps it just needs some adjustment since it looks like the fabric actually does fold over another layer. Gorgeous color!

Thanks, Kari. It actually drapes a lot and crosses over, so hard to say what's causing it. Could just be the way I'm standing, too.

In that case, I think it will probably be fine - I would only worry about it if the layers were stitched down and it had an odd fold/wrinkle like that. I like it!

Love the cream top! Coral shorts are cute too. I'm not crazy about the red LS top. It's got a tricky construction with busyness in front and my concern with it is that it would require fiddling to make it sit right.

If I have a garment that takes lots of adjustments and photos to look right, I know it's not going to work on me. If, on the other hand, I have something that I pop on and in one pic it's good, I know that garment was constructed right. For me, at least.

Love the white top but not getting the red. Is it meant to cross over the bust? Can it cross under the bust line?

Looks like we were on the same wavelength. I got the green top. The cream washes me out with my coloring but your look incredible.

Thanks for the thoughts, and for the honsty on the red top. Maybe part of the undescribably weirdness is that I pushed up one sleeve but not the other. THe fact that I'm defending thsi top maybe means I'm more attatched to it than I thought. I think I'll go try it on again in better lighting and try to do an honest assessment on the bust drapage.
