Meaning, at first I thought these had just washed up from somewhere because I could not find them on Anthro website, and wondered even what era they were from.
I have been having trouble with the "pants capsule" lately and have fewer options. My regular trousers are meh or not fitting well, or both, and make me discouraged.
I need a few more items that are "easier" fitting, but dressier than track pant and have some structure.
I was at Antro noodling for some possible slouchy-slim trousers reminiscent of my Anthro crazy-plaid pants, but more neutral, and possibly full length. Found none. Did find interesting shirt (below).
When walking past checkout counter, I spied on the rack just behind, where I hoped "tryon rejects" go, a pair of solid navy trousers that looked....interesting. Possibly pleated or slouchy.
Hmm--are they sold? On hold? If I reach for them, will alarms go off?
No, they are for sale, deep discount.
Really liked them; bought them. None other in store.
At home, searched online in case other colors; or considered trying a larger size for more slouch, but lo and behold, they were not anywhere on website, or, well, anywhere.
Finally found this photo on Lyst.
Later, mystery solved, I found them under Sale on Anthro, but I had searched Sale before. ? if is difference between mobile site or what?
1-2: They are high-waisted and tuck-in-able, but also not very bulky, so I have a number of shirttail-hem tops that look fine untucked, treating them more like slim pants.
So that seems very versatile, since sometimes you feel like a tuck; sometimes you don't.
Solid navy poly-rayon drapey fabric that is perfect neutral.
3: My version of cat print shirt --also did not find on Anthro website, but I think this is it.
