I love these sandals! Pricey, but I did get 15 percent off, and I expect them to be a key player this spring and summer. So nicely made, perfect heel, fun print that I will wear with all my summery blue, gray, and white. I just want to be sure about size. I am an 8.5 and got a 39. I think a 40 would be too big. These feel fine. At the toes do they look short or right?

Very, very cute but I do think they're a little short, as your side toes are almost over the edge already. Usually the ends of open toed shoes curl upwards a little with wear and while a larger size might look too long at first, after a few wears it'd be fine. Keep but try larger size first?

Very cute! Tough call on size - I usually have just a little bit of room but a half size (or whole size) larger may be too big. Do they feel right?

Gosh those are nice! Nice pedicure too But - they look bordering on too short to me. What happens when you walk around? I'd be tempted to go up another size.....I think you'd be rubbing against the edge all the time - no? (these are fabric, right?)

They are leather, whole sizes only. I have long toes, which always makes this a tough call. I think I am going to compare to my other sandals before ordering the next size (which will be a whole size up).

I have this exact same issue. 8.5 feet, long toes. Makes for thong sandal problems sometimes. I usually go for size 39. I like how these fit on you.

Oh, they are pretty (as is your pedi!), but I think they're right on the brink. If your feet slide forward at all as you move around, I fear they'll look short. Can you try the size up too? I realize that might be too big, but I think it's worth trying them both.

Oh...this is a bummer. They are so great! But it looks to me like you need a half size up. Try the next size you can get at least -- maybe it will be okay.

Do they have a 39.5? I think they really are a tad too short.You just need an extra snippet. They might feel okay, but they look too short to my eye.

Those are on my YLF collect fave list. They're even better *in person.* I do think they seem right on the verge too - once you start walking around outside, they might irritate. I'd try next half size / size up just to see.

Thank you wise forum! I have ordered the size 40s to try -- got the last size 40s and they adjusted the price and waived shipping. I will post pics when they arrive and I really hope we like how they fit.

Beautiful sandals! They look gorgeous on you. It's good to be able to try both sizes, so you can be sure. That's one of the things that is so hard about online shopping. I always want to try two sizes in shoes, even when the first size I try on feels fantastic!

Love the happy sandals and high 5 on the 8.5! I am usually a 39. Good to try the 40s and if they are too big, perhaps using a small, thin adhesive shoe pad on insole of the shoe (ball of foot location) would prevent the slant from sliding your toes so close to the front. edge of the shoe. I feel your pain. I have stubby fingers and toes, yet many shoes have too short of a toe box. Going up a size is usually just a chance to watch my low volume heel flop out of the shoe.

These look a bit short to my eye. It looks like if they loosen up even a smidge, your side toes will be curling over the edge. The style, however, is completely fab. LOVE it. I really hope the size up works.

Beautiful shoes! I do think they look a tad short for your toes though. Just the tiniest bit. Guess it depends on your comfort though.

Love the sandals. I think it depends if you feet slide forward when you walk, if you can try the next size up it would be worth it to compare.

Do try the next size up, but keep the most comfortable pair. At the end of the day, your feet should be happy. They look terrific either way.

I think they are perfect and that you will swim in the 40's.

I'm a pretty consistent 7.5 and wear 38. I'd guess that 40 will be a full size too big but it doesn't hurt to try. I actually like the look of these on you and if they are comfy I'd keep.

Oh my goodness, I LOVE those sandals! Size 8.5 here too, and I hate it when companies only make whole sizes. They fit your toes, and as long as they're not hanging over the top it's good. I'd still like to see a little more wiggle room, though. Hopefully the next size won't be too big.

Keep keep keep, unless your feet slip or shift sideways in them. Looks like they *could* be prone to causing that kind of trouble.

KEEP! Or give them to me! (just kidding, they wouldn't fit ) They're beautiful! If you can easily try another size, give them a go. But if you can't and your feet don't slide, shift, or don't feel pinched or constricted, I say KEEP!

Just love them so much! Did I say it enough with all my "keeps"?

These look almost perfect to me. In all of the photos showing the side of your foot, none of your toes are over the edge. Because I have short toes, I often have too much space at the end and that's a deal breaker for me so I think I would prefer this size to the larger, as long as you don't slide forward more.
