Another woman needs help choosing a boyfriend!

I also decided to order the GAP SBF in citrine. Same sizes here, one regular and one petite, both one size up from normal. I liked Mary K's comparison photos so decided to do something similar. No styling or make-up or anything here (please ignore haggard appearance), just wanted to get some feedback on these jeans

So is one pair better than the other? Or look for a different size or brand? Thanks for your help!

Well, keep in mind that I like them baggy - but, I don't think they are big enough - IMO, they need to sit lower on the hips and hang just a "titch" in the crotch, and it doesn't look like these have any crotch-hang at all!

Marley -- I like 'em baggy too. I think I was in a rush to get the photos taken I didn't adjust the jeans properly. I would wear them down lower on the hips, and when they are there, the crotchpoint is about 2" lower than my actual crotch. Thanks for the feedback!

I think the shape of the legs on the petite is definitely better - but maybe one size up?

Gosh, these boyfriends are tricky fellows, aren't they?

Basic point - I think they are going to work really well for you.

As for which ones, though, I'm not completely sure yet. It might need a bit of styling for us to say for sure. How do they feel? Do you detect much difference between regular and petite?

I'm not much help here, but I ended up going with the petites, but a size larger than I would wear in the regulars, because I liked the narrower leg that ended (rolled a normal amount) a bit higher on my leg. I like that better on you, too, but it might be worth sizing up in the petites.

I like the cropped length and love your shoes! You could go baggier and a bit shorter I think.

suz -- yes, tricky for sure! I think I like the shape of the petites better but want them to be looser. will try to get styling photos up.

sarah -- that makes a lot of sense. I think it looks like that might be the way to go.

shevia -- thanks! I do have another pair that's a cropped length, but I'm not sure I like the look of the longer length on me... hm...

Marley -- mixed bag for bottoms. I think half of my GAP jeans are petites. It'd help if they actually had them in the store to try and compare there
