My sister recently gave me a few magazine to read and I've got three more to go ("Elle," "More" and one other). But, when I read Deb's post here about Carole's link on Inge's "Link Love" about how to cuff your jeans when wearing ankle boots:

I found an article on pumps and cage heels and sandals (see photo 1). It seems "how to cuff" is a topic with lots of opinions and it can go wrong or, at least, not quite right, at times.
This very brief article on styling tricks in "InStyle" suggests mirroring your cuff according to the width of the straps on your sandals or heels and using your footwear as a guide. I'm not sure I'm in total agreement here, and I don't really have a variety of strappy shoes in different widths, so I'm passing it along for you to play with when the weather warms up and gets a bit drier, as these are warm weather shoes.
I do think Deb's post of Carole's link is more in line with what I'll be doing with my cuffs.
Then, when you're done with the cuffs, and since the weather is cold, you may want to try the next "styling trick" of putting your long hair inside your funnel-neck or turtleneck sweater!
