It seems like it's the season for SYC's to begin; so I would like to throw my hat into the ring too!
I think I would probably benefit financially long term, if I can save more money than I do every month. I would ideally like to be able to squirrel away more money, and I think I have enough fab things in my closet to last me a year, anyway, as I don't really see my lifestyle changing as much as it did this year.
I will be awarding myself with some disposable income every month though, but I am thinking it will be a cash infusion of $100; mostly to replace things that have fallen apart or in danger of - including my boots which need new soles really bad (they have plenty of soul!)
I think I will start after Christmas though; but I am not anticipating a large amount of purchases post-holiday.
In the spirit of full declaration; I have about $400 of store credit at ModCloth (see, it's getting to be an addiction! My love of perfection has made many things go back!) - and I have an additional box of things to send back kicking around.
Last time I did SYC, it was sort of an excuse to be a schlup around because I couldn't buy anything new - however, this time I do want to be able to keep up with my dressing, hence, the cash infusion every month.
I hope to declare the SYC over in September (when I get my practice bonus); as my salary bumps up at that time too, and I will be more comfortable month-to-month, in case anything happens.
Also, ModCloth will no longer be my home page. Besides. I've gotten everything I've wanted. MUAHAHAHAHA.
