Some of you may remember from a few years ago when I converted a pair of my knee high boots into ankle boots. I thought I was being stylish, but couldn't seem to make it work for me. Just after Christmas, a pair of Frye Melissa Short Scrunch showed up on Ebay in my size. Brand new, bought after having one too many drinks, and now back home in Canada, she discovered they were too small. Got them for $125.00 cdn. Figured it was worth the risk. Perfect fit, very comfortable to wear, a jack-pot find. I love the nice close fit at the ankle; no gappy boots for this girl.
I'm thinking the best way to wear them is with a skirt or dress, and tights. I'll keep my jeans to wear over my tall boots. Any thoughts or suggestions?
