Another random thought - Ads you like to look at

On style. I was thinking there are certain email newsletter/ads I like to look at and that this says something about my style - what I do and don't look at most. I open every Refinery 21, Reiss, Bona Drag and Atterley. Neimans and Net-a-Porter push Stella McCartney, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Steve McQueen, Missoni, The Row, Karl Lagerfeld, Vionnet, Rachel Zoe, and Chloe my way. I also like to open the ones from Urban Outfitters and Cabi. I'm signed up straight for Derek Lam and Marni.

Ok. Yes, I need to spend less time surfing the web. But are there any ones y'all like to look at in particular?

I look at YLF pretty much exclusively. I'm sure glad that you guys have good taste. I look at UO on occasion but more often for DD's.

I like Eileen Fisher and Anthro. SFA is also fun to look at, and on very nice paper. And when Barneys sends me one I drop everything.

It really all depends on time available at the moment. I don't get very many store emails. I look at Zappos and 6pm the most and what's new at BR, AT, Gap or Nordstroms.

Net-a-porter is dangerous because they send me emails about new products from designers I like.
Barneys print is FAR more interesting than their emails. Plus Barneys doesn't separate men's stuff from women's. Since I have no boy in my life I have ZERO interest in men's emails.

Yeah, I pretty much open them all... it does take up a lot of time, though. I especially like Fashionising.

Angie, you are so strong. I think it would be hard for me to maintain my own style if I looked at everything - I'd want to try it all. Also, you are so lucky. When you surf the fashion ads at work, you are working!

IK, Saks dropped me from their list. I don't go into the city anymore and thus never to Saks. They didn't feel the love. But I did get my best pair of jeans ever there. I was so sad when they wore out.

Joy! You are a shoe girl! I don't know 6 p.m....

Anna - I love that about Net-a-Porter. They send updates on what/who you're interested in, no junk to wade through. And they load fast! I do get other "summaries", but I don't bother to open them. Clunky technology. Barney's - I'd just like to take a moment to complain that their website is a pain in the patootie. Clunky, very clunky. I also don't like their stores. However, I LOVE their wares. I still miss my little purple hat from Barney's lost 15 years ago. Lol.

I forgot - I like to look at the H&M online ads too. Now that they've fixed their website. Their original web... oh my. I swear, they must have been sending their graphics by rowboat from Sweden.

...Not to whine or anything. Hehe.

Most ads for shoes, Barney's, MyHabit and Gilt because they deliver to Israel although I have ordered about twice ever from them. I am afraid to look at Shopbop. Zara although they don't send mail as far as I can tell.
