Another question for the Nordstrom experts: price match?

I am absolutely *in love* with a Nanette Lepore suit (http://www.nanettelepore.com/c.....acket.html, for anyone interested), but it's pretty pricey. Saks sells the suit and is currently offering 20% off on purchases between $500 and $1000, which this would be. I would prefer to purchase the suit from Nordstrom, because I have gift cards I would love to use toward the purchase price, but I can't justify not getting the 20% off. Does anyone have any idea if Nordstrom price matches? (And for anyone like Mariana who is a true expert, any idea if I could ALSO open a Nordstrom debit account to get an extra 10% off on top of that?!)

Nice suit! I think QM said that she got a price match on a pair of shoes not too long ago. It's worth a try.

Absolutely! Nordies will not be undersold. Just bring some proof of the Saks promotion and you're good to go. You don't get 10% off when you open a Nordstrom debit card... you get a $20 Nordstrom Note in the mail about 10 days after your first purchase of $100 or more.

You can call CS, or you can call me at work anytime and I'll be glad to help. I can order the items from any store and send them to you, free shipping. But customer service should be able to take care of you too, no problem.
