Another NAS post?

HI all
The NAS has prompted me to post! I indulged myself in a few purchases...really hoping the Louise et cie OTK boots will be a replacement for my 5 year old saggy ones. And I'm loving my Vince loafers (bought them in black perforated leather this season and wearing to death!).
I got the bellatrix blouse in blue, still hooked on that crossover style.
Just a question - if the NAS is anything to indicate trends for next season - when will waterfall cardigans die? They are going strong!

Oooh! That VEST!! I persuaded Sveta to try it also. You two can be twins!

Love the sneaks and dress as well. And good luck with the boots. Boots are so hard to fit!

I'm not sure the cardigans are really such a "thing." It's more because they are transitional season, I suspect.

Nicole, Looks like you made some great choices! I'm very excited about your footwear. I'd love to see those boots on someone, and I am seriously considering the Vince loafers in the public sale next week. Did you buy your regular size?

That long vest is a statement piece, gorgeous. And I am happy to hear crossover tops are still available, I am hoping to find one for fall.

HI ladies, sorry for late reply.
Viva - I got my usual size on the Vince loafers. I got a pair in leather this season and the 10 fit perfectly, although I should add that I sometimes take a 10.5 or even 11, usually in pumps. Take your usual loafer/sneaker size. What colour are you thinking? I love the white on the sole!

Parsley the long vest is Trouve. I think Angie mentioned it in her coat tent post. I haven't wear Trouve before but got my usual size.

ANd thanks for the boot love - I am so hoping they can work to replace my current ones. The price is fab - if they work it will be fashion kismet.

Nicole, my preference is the black perforated ones, but I'm beginning to lean to the black suede because they are more wintry and I believe they are a better deal with NAS. Have to watch my pennies (especially since I just made an unexpected purchase late the other night). Thanks for the sizing info. I had read some reviews suggesting I size down. I'm a very solid 8.5 that rarely wavers, and your comments make me think I should stick with that size.

These look like some GREAT finds! I especially love that vest...oh, to have the height to pull that off! I'll live vicariously through you. The thumbnails are coming up really small for me, but that cobalt dress looks lovely!

I love those Vince sneakers, but I already have a pair and I don't think my lifestyle/dominate season warrants another pair...Love that long vest, too! The OTK boots are AWESOME! Please post photos when they arrive; I will live through you vicariously since this style doesn't work on me; my legs are cone-shaped and the top just never fits or looks good.

Easy on the waterfall cardi bashing; I bought one. Although in my defense it was partially because I really needed a cozy cardigan and the waterfall style is the basically the only option! I doubt that reflects a "trend" since they've been around for so long!

One trend I'm looking forward to is more menswear inspired coats in plaid!

Haha! Of course I have several waterfall cardigans in my closet AND they are so flattering on most women - probably why they are sticking around for so long. Plaid coats are dreamy - retro yet modern. Here's hoping they hit it big time this season.
