Another K/R - with my assistant

I have been so needy lately : )

The regular length Vince Camuto mixed media jacket came today. (Petite is on order.) Sleeves are a touch long but nothing I can't live with, actually I prefer my winter sleeves a bit longer for driving. I like the fabric embellishments on this coat and feel I could wear it anywhere around here. Pics are with my Gap Academy blazer underneath as I would usually be wearing another layer.

We are heading to Chicago in early November and I think my down coat will be too heavy and my other jackets far too casual.

What do you think - should I keep looking? Are the belt and double breasted snaps so much that I look as wide as Paul Bunyan? Pic 3(Lands End) and

I love this jacket! It is highly versatile, has some style punch, and it a great length. The sleeves are a tad long, but I agree that this isn't a deal breaker. As a Chicagoan (suburbs), this looks like a perfect choice for the Windy City in November.

(And no, it doesn't make you look wide. It looks like, well, a coat!)

I think the jacket looks great on you. It doesn't make you look as wide as Paul Bunyan. I think it looks dressier than the Land's End one as well.

I much prefer the style of the coat you have to the other two. I don't see any fit issues with this and I think it looks modern and cool (OK, I've just used that word twice to describe your outfit posts...LOL).

I like this one, and it doesn't make you look wide at all. It looks like you are wearing a great coat!

I really like this coat on you and I love the silver/grey colour. Fit looks really good.

I like it. Not sure how warm it is. I live about 120 miles north of Chicago, and it is cold right now. That damp cold that sinks into your bones. Add the brutal Chicago wind to it, and fall is in full swing here.

I know Chicago gets cold and windy, but we'll pretty much be going to and from the train/cab/car and don't plan on a lot of walking. It's going to be a quick trip.

P.S. It's still forecast to be in the low 60's next week in Chicago. Now, we are know that forecasts are, well, estimates, but I prefer a lighter coat with a jacket when I'm traveling this time of year.
