Another keep or return post - dress, jacket and sequinned top

Please help me to make my mind about these three items - as usual I am keeping nothing but 10s:
- red dress. I liked it a lot at first but I am not so sure now. I am not sure if this color is flattering on me (it is a cooler red) and also I am not sure about the sleeves. Can i layer long sleeve tops under it? I like the idea of a colorful winter dress (my current stash is mostly neutral plus one olive) but is it a 10?
- black sequined top. I desperately need longer tops to layer under jackets with pants but do these horizontal sequined stripes make me look wider? I do not need an evening piece so if this one is not good enough to wear at my work smart casual environment I would not keep it.
- knit chanel-esque jacket. I really like the fit and the fact that it is not solid black. I already own a red Hinge chanel type jacket - can I justify another one (I am adding a pic with my Hinge red one for a reference)?
Please be ruthless and tell me if I should not keep something!:-)

love the red dress.

not as fond of the sequined top--the bands are really wide and harder to wear, BUT i like it under the black jacket.

i LOVE the black jacket. i think you can easily glitz this up or dress it for work.

Wow, Sveta, I reallly like all the purchases.

The red dress is soooo flattering on you, I'm not very good at determining the proper color hues for skin tone, so I will let other comment on that, but Love the dress.

Love the sequined top as well, also very flattering, does not make you look wide.

Great jacket, not with that top, but looks like it fits perfectly, makes you look so tiny!
Whether or not you can use another one, only you can decide. But it looks FAB

I love the red dress on you! Very mod & cool! I'm a little unsure about the color - I'm bad at colors so I'll leave it to the color experts.

I don't think the sequin top is a 10. Horizontal lines across the hips is hard to pull off for most of us. It's better under the top but I'm not sure if you want to keep it just for layering. I do think the basic concept works fine for daytime though.

Love the black jacket! It looks like a perfect 10!

I -love- the red dress on you as well as the jacket. I think it is different enough from the red one to keep. The sequin top is more of an 8.5 for me than a 10. On it's own it's a 7. Nice but... With the jacket it's a 10. So gotta average.

The sequin top is so fun, Sveta. It doesn't make you look wide at all--looks like a great layering piece. Length is perfect for pants. The sheath and the jacket fit beautifully. Hopefully, Angie will chime in on the color.

H-m-m, maybe I was right about that dress when I liked it in the store. It has some retro vibe IMO - 60s maybe? I think I try to style it with under and over layers and post the pictures - I have until the weekend to return it if it does not work.
I am really happy you all like the jacket because I like it too! Maybe I should keep it....
You just confirmed my feelings about the sequined top - I think it goes back! So I am back to a square one in my need to get longer layering tops for pants. Oh bother!

I like the dress but did you try it sitting down yet? Is it a tad short? (just checking) I can't advise on color. The sequin top is fun, not over the top with the sequins. I only like this layered, on it's own, the stripes are a bit wide, but layered the stripes are wide enough to notice and not overwhelm. The third jacket is nice, but do you really want two jackets of the SAME style? During my own recent blazer purged I realized how few I wear daily. This meant for me, the one's I kept had to be different so I did not feel like I am wearing the same thing everyday.

the silhouette's a bit of a departure for you, but give it a try?

Lisa, I just read your jacket cleanup posts yesterday and know ehat you mean. My jacket collection is quite small and I am trying to build it from different styles and colors. Do you feel that my Hinge red jacket is very similar to this one?
bj, I have tried this dolman sleeve sweater on. It is a good length and I liked the shape on me a lot but unfortunately it did not work for me size wise. M was a bit snug around the hips but a good fit everywhere else and L was a good fit on hips but too big everywhere else

The sequin top is KILLER is my opinion and an absolute 10.

The knit Chanel jacket is a 10 too. Love it over the sequin top!

The dress is not a 10. Its pretty but looks a little snug and the sleeves are not the most flattering. I'd give it an 8. Sorry to be a spanner

Woo-hoo! I am keeping the jacket and top then with Angie's blessing and also because they both fill some holes in my wardrobe! Angie, am I correct that this jacket should be worn open with this top - I think when it is closed it somehow interferes with the sequined lines?
While I like the dress it does not really fill the hole as I already have 5 or 6 dresses I can wear in the fall / winter ( actually I have more dresses that jackets!:-0) Based on that reasoning and also on Angie's opinion i will return the dress.

I really like the top--I could see it under a cardigan too, for work. I like the black jacket, but I am not a super-huge fan of those types of jackets, so I will defer to others with more expertise :).

I'm glad Angie weighed in ~ I thought I was going to be the only one who didn't think the dress measured up to your usual style. I LOVE the sequin top , especially under the red jacket. The tonal stripes don't make you look wide at all; they're rather subtle. The black jacket is a keeper too ~ I like it open over the sequin top best.
