So, I was looking over old pictures, and I found some from when my hair was short and I had a bang.

Maybe it's just that old adage "the grass is always greener", but suddenly I wanted to cut my hair!

Since I go to school and work full time I have opted for a longer cut with side bangs. With my current style I just squish a little curl cream in, dry my bangs and go:

Sorry, these aren't the greatest pics.

Anyway, I'll be out of school in a while so I'm considering a more maintenance-requiring cut, if it's more flattering. Please give me your opinion!

One other small side note; my mother and grandmother belong to a conservative church and they do NOT approve of shorter hair...So that makes it a bit complicated but of course it didn't stop me before.

I think I'd like some combination of the first cut and the more recent style. I like how straight bangs look with curly hair. Maybe just shorten it a bit.

Maya, I had it that way at one point, too. Of course, I'd have to cut my fringe again to do that. I'm a little hesitant, just because bangs have to be styled and maintained (as I'm sure you can relate!). I like the suggestion. I'll think about it...

Cute outfits! I think I have to agree with Maya, and since you posted pics I can definitely say I like the combo style best on you. I can understand being hesitant due to upkeep, but I think it really compliments your facial structure.

Jeneva I love the drama of the first hairstyle, and I'm envious because my hair woul never look like that in a million years. If it isn't terribly hard to maintain I say do it, it looks gorgeous!!!

OK, so I think I'm going to have my bangs cut shorter than they are now, but still long enough that I can sweep them to the side. And I'll bring the length up to my collar-bone but continue with the curls.

I need to buy a diffuser! I leave the house with it wet in the morning and I hate doing that...
