At BR. Fit is nice but is it too conservative for me?

Also a b&w turtleneck I'm considering. Mostly sworn off of turtlenecks but the color blocking on this mitigates the chest emphasis most of them create on me. Plus this is sized up.

I kind of like #1. What pattern is that? Abstract? Geometric? It's a little hard to read in the photo. I think whether it's conservative or not depends on the pattern. Does that make sense?

I like #2, and I can see how the placement of the color blocking mitigates the chest emphasis. If you feel comfortable in it, go for it. I know for me it would put too much emphasis on my somewhat broad shoulders (....but that isn't a worry for you, is it?)

I really love the turtleneck on you. It might just be the photo not showing enough detail but #1 reads as a bit boring to me. Sorry.

Ok, I just went online and took a closer look at the pattern on the BR sweater. I like it! It's a scroll pattern, but a very modern take on it. Here it is for others to take a closer look:

Maybe it's just the picture, but 1 looks a tad big on you, which imo makes it look less good. I like the print, it's just a little mumsy for what I've seen of your style. 2 I like, the color blocking is very graphic and the visual emphasis is flattering on your shape.

My take -- #1 is not as stylish as you are; #2 looks great and a nice sweater for upcoming winter months. Just my 2 cents worth.

2 is bold and modern looking. It has a sporty feel and I like the contrast. Not crazy about the first one.

#1 is a fun, but subtle print. I think if it had more contrast I would vote yay. The high contrast of #2 is lovely, I vote keep!

I think #1 is too conservative for your style. #2 is fab, I like that it is graphic, simple and puts the focus on the your hair, face and shoulder line; I do wonder if the colours will bleed in the wash?

#2 is definitely worth considering if you feel fab in it. Hard to see fabrication in the photo. #1 just doesn't have the same impact as the strong graphic. I always prefer you in high contrast when you post pics.

Love #2 on you! The light color on top broadens your shoulders and makes you look statuesque. A great look for you!

Im late but glad your bought the turtleneck, it looks very cool on you. The other top just looks too insipid on my screen. Too bland and not good enough for you.

I'm glad you kept the black and white sweater, although the houndstooth from Angie's picks is still my favorite. The first sweater looked especially good paired with red pants in the link Nancylee shared. The extra color helped. Actually all these sweaters would be fab with red pants.
