Today I decided last minute to let 3 ten year old boys go into the cinema on their own and I went to look at the shops. I had no intention of buying anything but came across a bargain in shoes. I managed to replace my pointy flats which I've just about trashed and came across a pair of lace up ankle boots which are not too high.
I am having fun trying out more RATE urban outfits so I think these boots will fit in well. I told a friend I was calling this style "in the hood" which is quite ironic because I work in one of the least salubrious parts of town. do you think I should wear them with cuffed jeans? I was thinking of wearing them with leggings as well.
bonus photo of my new jacket styled for a day out. I wouldn't' wear the jeans to work but if I replaced the jeans with black jeans and the sneakers with boots, I could. I took a look at my hair and realized it needed a cut and a toner then took a photo after the hairdressers because I'll never get it looking so polished myself.
