another fit question EDIT: pics with white contrast added

I seem to be really second guessing myself on fit these days. Don't know if I'm being too picky or not picky enough. Driving myself crazy. (I tried on both the Med and S in the Kmart shirts at least 4 times each yesterday. sheesh)
So I ask you if this fit looks good. Pardon the loungewear I tossed it over. I can put on jeans and a white cami if that would make it easier to compare and make out the details.

I like the fit! I'm team oversized for sure though. Plus I always like to give myself a little "shrunk in the wash" wiggle room.

I'm not loving it. That diagonal seam looks like a wrinkle to my eye. And I don't think the neckline is flattering. I say skip it!

I like it, although with the style seeming to be going to a more voluminous, oversized look, I'm also struggling with what size to buy too.
The top looks great for Florida. Does the color fit with your other clothes? I think of you in brighter colors. If you don't feel fabulously fab in it, then I vote to pass for something better.

I think I would prefer a lower neckline for you. (Although for whatever reason on the model it looks more rounded and lower.)

Hmm, I like the top, the diagonal seam looks fine to me. I'm just wondering if it's too big in the sides. It's hard to tell with your arms down, but does it fit close to your body or far way when you hold your arms out? It seems roomier on you than the model, but of course, if you like it like that, that's fine too.

I like it - though like Una, I had to look at the diagonal a couple of times before it looked intentional and not like a wrinkle....

Okay, here is more like the model so it's easier to compare. Did I buy too big?

I do have a lot of olive and purples in my wardrobe that this should go with. And, yes, I was thinking specifically of warm FL weather when I considered it. Cool as a tank with more coverage.

I think it fits you quite similarly to how it figs the model. it might be a smidge bigger on you than her, but I think it looks good as it is.

I really like it on you. I think it fits the way it should and that it is supposed to have a bit a fluidity to it. A smaller fit might take away the pretty drape.

I like it and think it will work well for Fl. I like the diag line as it adds some interest. I think it will look great with white bottoms. I vote keep but I am totally on team oversize

Mo - I think regarding fit it might be just a little big but probably not so much as to get the smaller.

Did you want opinions on the top in general or just the fit?

I can wear it with every single pair of pants and shorts that I brought, and most of my skirts. That's a winner for me.

I actually like it a lot and think it is practical for your climate. And I think it fits you like the model.

Update: I went back to the mall to try the next size down. MUCH better. Bonus - now it's on 2 for 1 so I got a red, too. $7 all total. Not bad for a few summer tops to get through the hot weather.

I like it on you. I like the color with the purples and blues you plan.
The smaller size fits more like the model.

Thanks! Yes, my lesson for this week is fit comes first. No matter the price point or fabrication or color, if fit is off, it's no good. (thinking of that lovely ombre red to black dress - sigh)
