Another embarrassing moment

OK, just got back from taking a walk. When I got back and looked in the mirror, I noticed something kind of sticking out on my side, in the place where my shirt tucks into my skirt. Well, it turns out that one of those loop thingies that's attached to the inside of a garment (in this case, the skirt) to keep it more secure on the hanger was hanging out. Ugh. It is a faux leather skirt, so the loop was faux leather too and pretty bulky. Whoops!

Oh well, at least I didn't have any price tags on the bottoms of my shoes this time.

Whoooooops.... I usually clip them buggers off.

I always leave price tags on the bottom of my shoes. Where my coworker's soles say "PRADA" mine say "$29.99"

I've done that so many times, Gigi! I've got several tops with hanger loops that seem to migrate out of necklines during the day and I'll find them hanging down my back. I do cut them off if it gets really bad, but sometimes they are useful.

Lyn, funny joke about your shoes! Hee hee! I remember you had a co-worker who complained that you must be making boatloads of money to wear Kate Spade "every day." The $29.99 shoes are your secret—you funnel all the money elsewhere, ha ha!

Laura, I agree that they're useful—I use the loops on this skirt to hang it up, so I can't clip them off. I do have a top that has them (it has three of them, two in one armpit, which I can't figure out, lol), and those are poking out every which way when I put the top on, but they seem to stay put once they're tucked. But the day will come when I'm running late and forget to tuck them, I'm sure...and then I will probably post another embarrassing moment here.

Crutcher, I'm glad it wasn't something unmentionable too! I actually had a good laugh at myself.

Suz, maybe I can start a new trend. Remember how in the eighties, visible underwear was cool, a la Madonna? Well, I can popularize visible loop hanger thingies. Never say never!

I remember someone I used to work with deciding that rolling one of your pant legs up had to be the new trend, because they kept seeing so many people dressed that way in the downtown area where we worked - and then was told that people were doing that because they rode bikes (and didn't want to get their pant leg caught in the chain).

@ Gigi - That's sweet of you to remember!! And haha, I still carry my Kate Spade purse every day!

@ Laura - That's simply hilarious - I use a hair elastic to keep my pant legs out of the gears (when I used to wear pants) and my dad always wondered why I kept elastics "there" :p
