Another conference-goer in search of outfits!

Like others here, I'm lining up outfits for a conference. I posted one of them already separately; here are a few more for the other days. It's not a super formal conference.

# 1 I like wearing hot pink but I'm on the fence about the shape and length of this sweater

# 2 I also like icy blue but not sure how to top this

# 3 I feel like I should be wearing more jackets but don't know how to work them. This is a lightweight pinstripe wool and I'm not sure it goes with the pants. Also it's 12 years old, maybe the cut is not as modern?

#4 and #5 I love this high-waisted midi skirt (midweight fabric keeps its shape but not stiff). Still trying to learn how to style it.

# 6 and 7 Dress layered over skintight tee; I will wear with black tights. With or without belt?

# 7 Does this open cardi work as topper for the dress?

The Cat, thank you (again!). Interesting! #5 is definitely my favorite. And in 3# I feel appropriately dressed up. (Also the pants are quite practical...)

What a great selection of outfits. The icy blue, the jacket, everything looks on point. I particularly like the skirt in 4 and 5 on you. As for the topper in 8.... I think you could probably find a better match for this dress. It's a lovely topper but I think it has a different mood to it than the dress. Feel free to ignore me though I am certainly no expert.

You have put together really good outfits! I particularly love no 5 and no 3 - both are beautiful and seam great for a conference. I like no 1 very much too, the red sweater looks fab with the pants and boots. More casual than no 5 and 3, but gorgeous on you as well.

You have terrific choices - Love #3, #5 and #1. The sweater in #2 does need a topper IMHO, otherwise it too is very good and the blazer on top is very good. Blazer does not seem outdated, how does it feel? A long cardi could serve the same purpose if you think the blazer is constricting,

Favorite for a conference: 3 and 4.
(4 being my favorite, because very few people can do the turtle-neck-A-line-skirt-knee-boots like you, and the brighter top looks best for the occasion, it brings up to gaze towards your face, which is what you want).

The jacket in 3 works well IMO and I picked this look because it exudes a lot of sassy confidence, with the booties. I sense that the combination ponte leggings + pointy booties is a look that pleases you, and it's also one that is very pleasing on you.

Hi KM! You're off to a great start during a very challenging weather week. I heard we'll get 3-4" more snow mid-week. Argh!

Few comments.

#3 looks great as a silhouette but would go with a solid jacket as not to fight with the windowpane print pants.

#5 is gorgeous!

#6-8 - no belt for sure. In #8, something about the lines of the hem and the lines of the cardi are fighting with each other. Have you tried the jacket over the dress?

An excellent start. Here's my two cents:

#1 - try a semi tuck
#2 - too plain - dark denim jacket?
#3 - great
#4 and #5 - LOVE. Add a chunky pendant necklace
#6 - add a scarf
#6 - no belt
#7 - great

Thanks, everyone--this is superhelpful for my conference and for the future, since I'll be putting these outfits in rotation now that I have them figured out and YLF-approved

It seems #4 and #5 are favorites (in fact, they are my favorites too--I feel elegant and like myself in those), and that #3 is a solid bet. Angie, great idea about the necklace--I hope I have something that will match.

Also, Angie, interesting comment about adding a scarf to the dress--I wouldn't have thought of it!

Angie and ChrisM, thanks for the comments on my hair you probably know that curly hair is a daily fight and always an unknown, so I'm happy when it looks OK!

krishinidoux, yes, I definitely feel comfortable and strong when I wear the leggings and pointy booties--like I can take on anything.

Laura, we're getting more snow?!? I haven't checked the latest weather updates... I'm SO TIRED of tucking skinnies in snow boots!!! I hope I don't need to walk a ton from parking lot to the conference venue...
