Tracey, thanks. Janet had a good idea to cut a scrap and try it first to minimize errors when doing the real thing. I'm looking on youtube too.
Sterling, thanks. I like the tunic too.
Firecracker, thanks so much. Appreciate your kind words. Looking on youtube now.
Thistle, see above for notes on the sweater.
Suz, thanks. I like the bag. It smells so good (:-O) and it's on sale at M-D now. The quality seems good, hopefully it lasts for a long time. It has one zippered section and one open section that closes via the circle and ties. Everything fits nicely so I am taking it on its maiden voyage today haha
Manny and Jenn, thanks!!
lyn67, what a boost, thanks. I like button downs but I am lazy and don't like to iron. We'll see how this works out. I couldn't pass it up - so many tops have dropped shoulders now so when I put on this top I was like WOW must have it for what it does for my shape.
Glory, thanks. I am looking on google and youtube now. I like Janet's idea to try with a scrap first.
Janet, what a brilliant idea. I'm gonna try that! Thanks. This "scarf" or whatever you call it (scrap of material, haha) is from Zara and cost about 20 USD, so way cheaper than a lot of the ponchos on the market.
