My little (only) sister arrives tomorrow for 10 days of sitting around giggling, alleviated by bouts of feminist rage. Can't wait!

Alas April the NY leg of our trip was interrupted by Covid (not me, two of my kids with a very mild and quick case). Will eventually post about my mini-thrifting trips in NY and Chicago. Now we are onwards to Florida.

Little sis and I wore our obstinate headstrong tees yesterday but the tater tot preferred her bathing suit, so we'll catch the photo another day.

Today a beloved dog trainer is coming to help us introduce the human tot to the canine one. Because he's a rescue, we have no idea how Bodie responds to children and we need to find out safely.

SF - you have no idea how right you are.

CG - I didn't get my sister until I was 8, and, sandwiched between two brothers, I desperately wanted a sister. But naturally, what I *most* wanted was the impossible: an OLDER sister. So an obliging, sympatico cousin filled that role and I got a much younger sister who has grown into the sister role admirably.

Debora - I love that you're posting! I too have wandered in and out over the years and while there's a lot of great new energy, voices, and faces here right now, it's always a thrill to see the veterans you've actually met.
