The items I ordered have all arrived and been mostly dispositioned. And much to my delight this mustard jacket Angie recommended popped in in my size and is now its way. I was starting to worry about my lack of color so I’m very intrigued by this in my personal color of the year, yellow. It should arrive next week.

The brown cardigan while beautiful fabric, is in the end a no and made me realize the brown tunic wasn’t a keeper either. They’re both too heavy for my office and I prefer more structure. Someday I’ll find my chocolate brown topper, which has been a HEWI for ages.

The skirt which made Angie’s top pick is great and is staying. It goes with a ton of my tops and now I just need to figure out shoes which may be a whole other post.

The Open Edit shirt was way too small in the smaller of my two sizes which was all I ordered and it’s now sold out. Decent fabric though, so I’ll see if it’s around later.

The backpack is a definite keeper. I run a lot of errands in my neighborhood on foot and it’s already been to the farmers market and grocery store.

The Vince Camuto dress is a rich eggplant to my eye, long enough and the vee isn’t too deep. I tossed a black blazer over it and it read professional to me. It’s more versatile than a near orphaned cap sleeve ponte burgundy dress from a previous NAS that I find seasonally confused because it has an asymmetric neckline that looks bad with a topper. I do want to figure out shoes and how to best fix the belt tho before the final verdict. It just arrived today so I haven’t had a chance to do more than a quick try on.

I’m super excited about this yellow jacket, so I’ll post a final update after it arrives.

ETA Here’s a pic of this morning farmers’s market haul (plus a missing head of lettuce already in the fridge) which fit with careful packing. The bottom is flat and just wide enough for a pint box.
