Has anyone ever heard of this clothing line? This French designer just opened a store here in Austin last year, and I've walked by it many times and today I decided to go in. She's mainly focused on black and white, and specializes in tops and accessories, no pants or anything else as far as I could see. Her shirts were beautifully tailored though, (most went for about $300). They feature interesting details like ruffles (ruffles!!) and fabric flowers and she mixes textures in her shirts also, like it will be made of crisp poplin and then maybe a sheer silk taffeta or something. Some of the pieces aren't that unusual, other than they seem very well made out of nice material, and some are very different.

I really liked the look of a lot of her things, but $300 seems like a lot of money to put down on one shirt. That's like, a bit more than my shopping budget for a whole month, but I would do it to get a really great piece that would last a long long time. What do you all think? Anyone familiar with this designer's quality and the longevity of the pieces? I wish I could link to a specific item I liked, but it's not possible, so I'll link to the whole site (warning--there is some really annoying music playing, so you may want to mute your computer):

If you click on "collection" it will let you flip through the catalog. I especially like #4 Constantine, #26 Carmelia, and #32 Cristabel would be kickin' with some red skinnies (on the right person). #45 Cass is my favorite. Her belts are nice as well.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback or if you're not familiar with the line, have fun browsing.
