Hi all. I am in Charleston, South Carolina on the second leg of my vacation. My baby boy, (aka, 34 year old son, Jake) , got married last Friday so I needed a place to spill my tears. Anne Fontaine has a store here in the Belmond Charleston Place Hotel so thought I would take a look. found this beautiful shirt that I had to have so forked out the $350 bucks as a remembrance of this time in my life. After dinner in a wonderful restaurant in the hotel I took off walking in what I thought was the direction of the water district. Then I saw the sign stating the sponsor of the freeway cleanup and knew I went the wrong direction. By then the thunder and lightening I had been enjoying decided to spit a lot on me so I called Uber to pick me up. I got in the car and saw my shopping bag was empty. The nice Uber driver went back and I found my shirt in the gutter. Nothing I could do but laugh it off. When I got to the restaurant with the Portobello mushroom fries I craved I was a soppy mess. stowed the drenched shirt and bag at my feet and had the fries and a margarita. So good.. I rinsed out the shirt in the hotel tub and hope for the best. The find will not work on the Anne Fontaine site so here is a link.
