HELLO. I'm popping in briefly from London. We are here for 2 weeks spending time with family and friends.
Thanks, abc. You are a honey. And to answer your question about the striped JC top - it's very, very light weight. I do wear a camisole but you don't need to if you wear a nude bra.
Suz, you are bang on the money.
My travel capsule is working out absolutely perfectly. So glad you convinced me to pack my trench. I feel comfortable, fashionable and pulled together each day. I am prepared for a range of temperatures and for a variety of activities. Polished but practical. I can wear my white jeans three days before they need a wash. My shoes have been brilliant. Very comfortable - walking a lot - between 10 and 17 km a day. They are white but have not been messed up, thanks to my super power.
I would have been unhappy if I hadn't packed all that I did. It's a long 4 week trip and I need it all. I have done laundry twice and won't need to do it again - which is fab because I don't want to spend my holiday doing laundry. I have worn everything accept my skirt already. I'm saving my skirt for fancy High Tea on Sunday.
I would not call myself a maximalist packer. Just a practical non-minimalist one. I packed exactly what I needed to feel fabulous each day - of which happy feet were the most important part. I don' t miss my stuff at home because I took a lot of variety. This is the very best travel capsule that I have packed because I don't feel that I have over packed or under packed.
