Please, please ignore my tired, no make-up face and hair in these pics. Took them pics a few days ago when the dresses arrived, but haven't had time to post. I just threw the dress on with the only sandals I had out of winter hibernation at the time.
#1 and 3 are a size 6. #2 and 4 are a size 8. The waist fits a bit better in the 6, but the bust pulls a bit (story of my life). I like where the waistband hits a little lower on my torso in the 8 better, but you can see from the side view that there is too much fabric in the back in the 8, which might not be a bad alteration. The skirt feels a bit full in the 8 too, and the neckline just a little bit low.
Fit issues aside, it's a pretty, well-made dress, but I'm wondering if it's too dressy and/or romantic for my style. I've moved away from fit-and-flare dresses even though they are usually conventionally flattering. I'm also not sure if white is so terrific on me (although I admit the light in these photos is not good). I tried on my cobalt denim vest with it, just to see if it would work, but I'm not sure I love it either way. I am leaning toward returning both unless you all see more potential than I'm seeing.
