This is the sweater Angie featured yesterday. It is very soft. Excuse the horrible picture. It has been a long week already. As we were taking the pictures tonight my husband informed me that he cannot stand the half tucked look'. I love it but will try not to wear it around him. Honest opinions please. Thanks for looking.

This looks so soft! I like the soft white color on you and love your jeans and sandals. I envy your weather right now as we have snow in the forcast.
Interesting about your husband's feelings on the half tuck. i suspect I may hear something similar any day. It gets looked at with a head shake, but so far nothing has been said and I'm not asking.

This is the Banana Republic top? Does it feel like it will work for hot summer weather? The camera is probably highlighting where you don't want it to in your photo. Did you buy your regular size?

It is the BR top. It won't be good in really hot weather but it is a good transition piece for now and early fall. It is extremely light weight. It would be an excellent travel piece.
ETA I usually take a small or medium and I bought a medium.

Love those jeans with the sandals. I like the top too, how would it look if you pulled he sweater out a bit more at the waist? I like the tucked look but this may just be a bit 'too' tucked. You have great style.
I guess you can appreciate your husband's honesty:-/

Great outfit, Debbie! The sweater, jeans and sandals together are very on-trend. I giggled at your husband's admission after so long - my husband does the same thing! I don't think you need to lose any weight at all - maybe Tina's suggestion of pulling the sweater out a little at the waist might soften the overall look. Like a half-tuck/semi-tuck - with a blousing effect. Not sure if I'm explaining that correctly....

I'm not sure I can get past those great jeans and sandals Deb - love those, so modern and fun! My DH came around on the semi-tuck. He doesn't mind it so much now.

You look great! That sweater is a pretty, non-clingy fit. So much better than a basic t-shirt. I thought you might like the aqua but came home with the white

My 80 year old Papa thinks half tucks look very odd. When I tried the semi tuck, he sweetly kept on letting me know that my top was untucked at the back - to which I replied "thank you" every time.

For the record, I fully tuck or FAUX tuck. I do not semi tuck at all. But you need a welt at the hem of the top to faux tuck.

Angie you know me well. I was drawn to the aqua one but they did not have my size so I went with the white.
