This was an informative challenge. I've never thought much about the individual elements that make my most "me" outfits. I love seeing what others feel most authentic in! Actually can't wait to get back to all your posts!
Technically, I missed recording yesterday, so I'm including an outfit from last week that is very typical. That's in photo 1, a cold and blustery day, when I went to an outdoor beer tasting.
The "me" in all these is jeans, scarves, booties, tops that are soft. When I wear flares I sometimes now try to show the belt a tiny bit with a semi-tuck. Cardigans are a staple year-round.
Photo 2 is a close-up of one of my hand-knit shawls that I wear as a scarf. Photo 3 is oddly foreshortened; my legs are short but not quite that short. My hubby is in training to become my fashion photographer, but neither one of us knows what we are doing! Anyway, I tried the skinnies tucked into the combat boots, but the outfit is mostly about the color and drape up top.
Photo 4 is today. My snake booties are the closest I will ever get to the white YLF bootie look. Grey brewery t-shirt and one of my favorite cotton cardigans, which works year-round. I am about to go help hang a youth art show in our local fine arts center. I feel ready!
Thanks so much for looking.
