In my first three posts, on another thread, I described my style as being casual, comfortable, layered, and my love of columns of color. For day 4, I thought I'd address colors. My color palette is blue, black, gray, and white and I have been focusing on buying clothing in these colors to give me a solid base which which to create outfits. I have reached the point where I'm wanting to wear other colors, too. Right now, my favorite accent color is red. I have three red coats, wool cocoon, boiled wool fitted, and fleece walking so I am usually wearing red on the coldest days. I have scarves in red prints, too. Red is a happy color for me.
Day 5's photo shows my interest in trends, hence the pointy toed white boots and the pattern mixing. I don't adopt every trend but some of them seem to call to me.
I've enjoyed Angie's Challenge and learned a lot about my style trying to describe and illustrate what I like and what I'm trying to do. It was a big bonus to learn more about fellow Fabbers lives, style, and goals
