Angie: Spec brands and your apple green frames?

I adore your green glasses. Sadly, I am going to need to replace my favorite pair of glasses, my cat-eye citron and purple frames, which are 15 years old and quite brittle. I have been unable to find anything locally in a citron or acid color that would work for me. And my frames are such a huge part of my style! Any suggestions on brands to consider for a small round/square face?

All my eye wear is French Designer, and I pay a fortune for these pieces, Una. My apple green specs are by Derome Brenner, and a work of art. The inside and side detailing blows my mind. They are actually irreplaceable because I bought the last pair in this style and colour. They are still available in a dark red at the store I bought them from in Seattle.

I don't think of your face as small, and you have big hair. I vote go bolder and bigger but keep the cats-eye shape.

Thanks, Angie! I have frames by Bevel, Anne et Valentin, and another brand I've forgotten. Are there other brands you'd suggest I try? Our selection is really limited here to places like Costco and chain stores. We do have one upscale store but they are carrying very oversized frames at the moment, and I can't do them.

As you know, I can go bold and want a statement frame, since these are my main jewelry. Maybe I need a trip to Seattle....

I have a small face too. My favorite frames ever were Anne et Valentin. I have been searching for a new pair (or pairs?!) or glasses for a while without luck, and today went back to the opticians where I bought my Anne et Valentin frames a number of years ago. This place is more expensive than other opticians I went to, but they have a great selection of frames. I actually found a number of frames I liked and am considering. (Happy dance!!!) The ones I liked were LaFont and Freudenhaus brands.

My husband has some green glasses from Warby Parker that from a distance have a similar vibe to Angie's. <https://www.warbyparker.com/ey.....een-spruce> They are not super special works of art, since they come from the cheap place, but they don't require any travel to obtain.

My fab purple specs are Etnia Barcelona---- my local high-end trendy place will order in any specs I want to try from any brand they carry or can get hands on for the regular customers to try and then will sell whatever you don't take, if you have a boutique-type shop they might be willing to do this, especially since you can't be the only lady with a smaller head who would buy them if they offered them. My other favorite pair is the Swissflex line by Itallee.
