Awesome appearance on the Today Show today, Angie! You looked and sounded amazing. Bad for them for not giving you more air time (after all, whom will women listen to more - smart fabulous Angie or boring bald guy?) but I'm convinced this is just the beginning. Go Angie!

I guess the “boring bald guy” gave NBC what they perceived as meaty retail secrets and I hardly spoke about that in my interview. But I’m pleased none the less. As far as far television appearances go, this was not too shabby.

I also wanted to share a little interesting info. Kim the producer of the show had just done a segment on the Oscars. She found out that stars have Botox injected into their ears in order to hold huge chandelier earrings. They also have Botox injected into their armpit glads to prevent perspiration. Why? Wear a necklace and use Certain Dri instead.

Not too shabby at all, considering they flew you there and everything. Some of these shows (which will remain nameless) sell such segments to corporate sponsors. A 3-5 minute segment that looks like journalism but is really advertising can cost upwards of $40K. Oh, and you have to pay for your own plane ticket to get to the studio.

As one of the many forum members who has not had the pleasure of meeting Angie in person, it was wonderful for me to watch the show and suddenly have a voice to go with the words of wisdom I read every day on the site!

(And I kept thinking -- are they nuts? How can they not zoom out to show the boots?!?
