OK, maybe not a Weinermobile...but still...

We were driving down the interstate this afternoon and we drove past an Oscar Mayer Weinermobile (did you know there's a lot of competition to drive one of those things?) and I was telling DH about how it's all about good PR, meeting the public, etc.

And then I thought...how about an Angiemobile? Angie, you could go around the country and give instant advice, improving the general look of the country and making people feel good about themselves, just as you do here:) You could start with the major airports:)

But then Angie wouldn't have time for us I'm too greedy to get behind this idea.

Although it would be nice to step out onto the streets and be inspired rather than dismayed.

Or there should be advertising plastered around the airport security line area that say, "Don't look drab, look fab @ YLF.com!"

Instead of a tricked out gansta-type mobile with bling and such in the mirrors, Angie's fashion-mobile could be decked out with pearl strands. :p

I've got a picture of my kids standing next to a Weinermoblie when they were little. It was waiting for the ferry too.

Agreed, Angie's rig would need to be much more stylish than that.

I'm going to have to google Weinermobile! I keep thinking of a giant, moving hot-dog - would this be right?! If I'm on the right track, I propose that Angie's method of transport be a giant red Valentino petal bag!

KP- that is exactly what a weinermobile is... a giant hot dog on wheels I'ts Oscar Meyer's-- do you have that brand in Australia? They are a meat company and make lunch meat, hot dogs, etc.

Theresa and I are on the same page -- Angie needs something classier than a hot dog car... a luxurious apple green jet plane sounds perfect.

Many years ago, the Wienermobile came to Boston and took a major road with a low overpass and it got stuck...causing a traffic nightmare. Then next morning, on the front page of the newspapers, the headline was , " Wiener stuck on Storrow Dr. " . It was just the funniest picture. A giant hot dog stuck under a bridge and emergency personnel all over the place. ( Hold the mustard please. )

For Angie, maybe a giant Valentino bag ? Red, of course.

Beth, you are fabulous. Embarrassingly, I had to google what a Weinermobile was too. Mine would have to be the tofu kind. It reminds me so much of the times we followed the Tour de France. Very fun.

Ah, I love veggie dogs! I think I'm more open to the idea if it's a Soymobile.

I also heard a story about how the driver of the Weinermoile was caught speeding, but the police let him go because arresting him would be "unamerican".

That would be really cool! I love the idea of mobile fashion advice! Maybe park in mall parking lots!

I'm about a mile from the Oscar Meyer headquarters, so we see the Weinermobile driving down the road a few times a year. It's very surreal. My preference would be a tofu-mobile too. Did you know they have tofu dogs at a lot of the ballparks now? I was pleasantly surprised when I went to a Brewers game a few years ago!

Isabel, that's a priceless story about the hot dog stuck in the "sorrow drive" tunnel!! I know it well ( I lived there a long time, my family still does). Such a pretty route. When I drive my rental car from the airport, I always go that way because the river is so scenic with all the brick buildings. Lots of memories. Being with those "creative" Boston drivers, somehow I feel right at home :)!

Angie would need a beautifully restored vintage Air Stream...oh wait, isn't that what Trinny and Susannah had in their last show? And it was a disaster! But it wasn't the trailer's fault.
