I did a closet edit on the 23rd of September and I thought it was pretty thorough. There were 3 bags of stuff taken to the local thrift shop (pic 1). Then Angie came up with her closet edit challenge.
I interviewed at Old Navy this morning for a seasonal position (I'll know Monday whether or not I get a job there). When I got home, I felt like I was in the right frame of mind to tackle a closet edit.
It. Was. Heinous.
Two garbage bags full of clothes and scarves. A dust bag full of things for textile recycling. And countless grocery bags of shoes for donations.
I can actually see what I own now. I have finally gotten rid of the last of the stuff I kept just for working at the fruit stand. I got rid of shoes that are too tight. I got rid of high heels that were beyond repair and high heels that I am pretty sure I'm not going to wear (not now not never). I got rid of stained shirts and stained pants and pilled knits and pants with decorations that were coming off.
I feel lighter. My closet feels lighter and brighter. And it's all Angie's fault LOL
