Thank you Theresa, Lynne and Biscuit. I appreciate your ongoing concern enormously.

Jasmine came home on Friday and is in good spirits. She was very tired from the ordeal and has been sleeping a lot. So far, the family is managing her terminal illness well with aggressive medication and strict supervision. We are taking each day as it comes - and each day is a gift. Bless her little heart.

I'm so glad to hear she's home where she belongs. I was away on a family trip for a few days with my dad, stepmom, sister, her partner, and my husband and the Chickadee. The first thing I looked for when I got online this morning was a Jasmine update. I'm so very sorry that her heart condition is terminal :'(

While on our trip, my stepmom's dad passed away. I didn't know him but she was obviously heartbroken and is now flying home to be with her family. It's so hard to lose a family member, regardless of whether they're human or furry.

Hugs to you and Jasmine, Angie. I was well into my 40s when I got my first dog and can't imagine being without them now. How did I live so long without them?
