You both assured me that I could wear the Sam Edelman python booties - well they arrived in the mail today and they are beautiful! Better yet - super, duper comfy and a perfect fit.

I can already see them with my new slouchy skinnies (once back from Wonder Woman being hemmed), my tweed front slouchy trousers, my black cigarette pants.....

And I love that there's more black in them than I thought so I'm less worried about the bookending.

I am totally giving away that I am a fellow Winnipeger here, but did you get them on the sale at 6pm? LOL

I really like the look of them too but the pair I tried in SE at the Bay rubbed the front of my leg so they were not to be.

Can't wait to see them. Perhaps we should meet after you get them and I get my SW pumps and we can wear our gorgeous shoes together.

So glad you like them! My pair is arriving soon from Zappos, I hope. I am typically between 5.5-6, and they only had 6, so I'm worried about fit. How are you finding the fit of your pair? Thanks!

Shannon, I am so glad you got them! I missed commenting on your other post but I have them also and I have dark hair and they work for me every single time (not mentioning multiple compliments I get on them every time I wear them).

Kristin - I wear a 6 in some shoes and a 6.5 in others - I ordered these in the 6.5 and they are perfect. I think yours will fit - I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

I hear you on the bootie frenzy Suz - I'm suddenly crazy in love with all things bootie and heel heights of about 2 inches. I think I may be wandering away from tall heels (other than my Docs of course).

Can I say how much I love these too??!! They have been tempting me since I first joined the forum but I hesitate primarily because of the light color. My day in day out wardrobe is typically jeans. With my brown hair would I need to wear something lighter on top for these to work?

Plus I already have a pair of the Petty booties in moss green.

Pil - I have dark salt-n-pepper hair and was worried about the bookending too. But Inge is a brunette and wears them beautifully. There's actually more darker tones in the boots than I thought so I'm not as worried about the bookending any more.

I may have to order them from Zappos just to give them a whirl. Although I really need a weatherproof boot more.

ETA - Zappos was out of my size but they were on Amazon for even less $99.99!
