Love this candid picture. And, as always, Angie looks impeccable and super stylish, don't you think. I adore the crisp white booties here, such a fab accent in combo with the yellow jumper and red skirt.

Oh goodness. Thanks, Inge. I'm blushing. I was feeling a little blue and tired, which means wearing an EXTRA BRIGHT outfit to shock my system. It's a good strategy.

And thanks everyone for the kind words. It was late - 6.30pm ish and dark a few weeks ago, which is why the photo is dark. I look tired because I was! Had been shopping with a client all day and was waiting for my car to come round from Nordies Valet.

When I first read you were waiting for the Nordies valet, I mistook it to mean that Nordstrom provided you a chauffeured car. I thought, "Whoa, Angie sure has some clout there!"

I'm sticking with my white shoe theory: people love 'em, but are intimidated by them. When they see them done well (like these lovely booties or Angie's black and white ones), they nearly swoon with joy!

AJ, you crack me up. I had just bought nude hose and knee highs. And I'm wearing nude hose in this outfit, which is the only reason you can't see my spider veins. Yay Nude Hose!

You know what else I absolutely LOVE??? And I think maybe you could highlight this in a blog post, Angie.

The skirt looks like one that you wore in Fashion Week (if I am not mistaken), and while you've exchanged the blouse for a sweater, the colour family is the same. And this time, you have added the jacket and different accessories. So the look is both perfectly "you" and perfectly "new."

There is a continuity to your style, in other words, that comes across in this outfit. And it is a wonderful example of how it is possible to look absolutely current even though you are not wearing all brand-new items.
