Another review, because, after weeks of waiting (all ES pieces are made to order and take 4-6 weeks), my Elizabeth Suzann Harlow dress came today, too. It is amazing.
I thought I knew what people meant when they talked about a do-anything, go-anywhere LBD, but this is the BEST version I've ever had. The silk is heavy and drapey (meant to be worn, not coddled), the quality is impeccable (photo #2 shows an inside seam), and it seems to elevate whatever old piece from my wardrobe I throw over it. It's deceptively simple. The V-back lands perfectly at the top of my bra line, the back hem falls slightly lower than the front, and the whole package looks 1000x better in motion than in these photos. Oh, and it's washable.
I'm smitten.
