I really like the print, but I don't know about the cap sleeves. Thoughts?

I think it's a nice huggy style of cap sleeve, at least in photo. Kind of surrounds the arm rather then being a tourniquet. Don't you customarily wear a top layer?

I didn't know, either! Someone passed around a catalogue today, and it caught my eye. I do usually wear a topper, but I'd like to be able to wear without, too, for dress-up.

I vaguely remember something about cap sleeve T-shirts being very disliked on YLF. Also wondering if they would create an IT shape?

The consumer reports thing is disturbing... hm...

But how do "you" personally feel about cap sleeves? Do you wear them? It's a pretty print. I, too, have been wondering about Avon's clothing. Two dresses from recent catalogs caught my eye, and I'm considering ordering one of them.

I don't think I've encountered many cap sleeves in my life! I don't own any right now, but that could just be because they don't make it to the swap meet. In theory, I worry about cap sleeves making my biceps look big and creating an IT shape.

I actually own a very similar dress by CK. It is much longer on me than on the model.
I usually wear a blazer over it, so I don't bother with the sleeves. I obviously like the dress you posted, but the quality issue is concerning. Can you return the item?

I like the dress, but I am leary of the quality. I have a friend who is an Avon rep, and she says that the clothing/accessory quality is very hit and miss.

Good question, Zapotee! Yes, you can return it for a full merchandise refund. The order comes with a pre-addressed shipping label. I've ordered things here and there (not clothes, at least not yet) and when I contacted customer service I found them to be friendly and helpful.

I really like the look of that dress, but then I actively LIKE cap sleeves!

About the quality, I've bought their underthings several times, and the quality was very good indeed (I still have a couple of the underwired bras, and they were bought about 5-6 years ago). However, they do run large, I find.

I think the dress is cute, cap sleeves and all. I'm not particularly picky about sleeves though - it's never occurred to me to be self conscious about my arms. The only thing I don't like is when the sleeves are too tight which I have had occasionally happen with cap sleeves.

Well, I don't feel confident in the quality after hearing your experiences - thanks for possibly saving me a headache. I would not want to go through my Avon lady at work for a returns hassle.

I've been looking at lots of quirky prints, and this one jumped out at me. Reminds me of a green one that Kari has. Much more $$ than the Avon dress, but much less than the Karen Millen marble print dress I've been drooling over.
