I think I mentioned that my parents bought a condo while they were here, and wanted to furnish it before they left. My mom and I ran around like maniacs in the short bursts of time we could leave the kids with someone, looking for furniture and artwork. Thanks to YLfF, I was able to picture combinations, pattern mix fabrics, and coordinate pieces like a pro! We did mostly neutrals with pops of red - some charcoal, some browns, and a few whimsical patterns. I'll post some pics when everything is delivered.

I would have been completely overwhelmed and confused without the skills I've learned here. My mom was amazed at my confidence and ability, and it is of course thanks to what I've learned here!

Anyone else find their style lessons spilling over into other areas?
