Of all Angie’s blog posts I might be the most excited about this one, ever! It seems shoe trends are mostly shifting my way, towards my preferred more refined styles. Although I have been able to get them through the chunky years, so hopefully you chunky shoe lovers will still find things.
Of the 26 trends I have or want 12 of them!
1. Low profile sneakers. Already have my Skechers and some decade old white ones which are on their last legs, boo hoo, so pretty with tiny white embroidered flowers. I just machine washed them but they are coming adrift. I also have pale pink decade old ones with gum soles.
I really want some sneakerinas and am considering paying full price, shock! Maybe not in white but in pale. This shoe designer Nicole Rebstock is actually the daughter-in-law of one of my old friends of 47 years since we were 18. If I buy it will be my first purchase from her.

2. Woven textures. Love these. Already had 2 on my Wishlist. Pics 5/6.
3. Jazz or Derby. The sneakerinas kind of fit this? I also have the old gold Oxfords in my holding zone (pic 7)- had not been wearing but was scared I would miss them, they’re from 2013 I think!
8. Mesh- I like these and like jellies, the Melissa ones have been on my Wishlist for about 2 years. Pic 8.
10. Pointy toes and square toes. I prefer the former but forget occasionally when buying so have both. Pics 9-11.
11. Embellished. My favourite thing! Sassy! Pics 12-16. The gold sandals are new this week- “birthday shoe shopping” with my best friend, a shoe store near her was closing down.
12. Tall boots, not so much my thing but still have the one black pair, no pic.
13. Loafers, only have the yellow ones left and they’re getting old, no pic.
14. Mary Janes- have come to really like these. Refer pic 9 bright pink. I also have some gold true vintage ones in the dress-ups for Art Deco.
19. Patent- have and love several. Pic 9 plus pics 17-19.
22. Fancy flats- most of them count! The two pairs of boots here have low heels so may not quite fit this category. Pics 20-23.
25. Strappy sandals- have always admired this category but can’t do stilettos. Maybe pic 24 sort of counts.
