My 26th birthday is about a week and a half away. I adore my birthday, but I feel much older than I am these days thanks to my precious little family (I know, lame right?!) and making a big deal hinting at gifts from my husband is something I now do for my son instead of myself!

But a package from Neiman Marcus was delievered yesterday, and all of a sudden, I have that same feeling I had when I got my first car. My hubs surprised me with the blue python Michael Kors 'Hamilton' tote, a style that I've coveted for what seems like years in various colors, but this is love at first sight! I wish the picture did it justice-the denim blue is BEAUTIFUL and unexpected with python! I've always had a thing for Michael Kors, his pieces are classic yet edgy in the perfect equal amounts, and the color is perfect for that 'pop' with anything I wear! I consider python somewhat of a neutral, which is also subtly 'badgirl' in its own way ,so I'm already planning all of my outfits around it, of course!

But the best part was how special I feel for being spoiled in such a big way and the appreciation he's shown for my skill as his wife and our son's mother. Happy early birthday to me!
